On Friday 21st February 2020, the Department of Physics hosted high school and primary school students and their teachers from the Oaks International Academy, Nairobi in a public lecture and sky viewing event at the College of Physical and Biological Sciences, Chiromo Campus.

First Regional Workshop on Gender Equality in STEM
The theme of the first regional workshop on gender equality in STEM is harnessing women and girls potential in STEM for sustainable development.
The workshop is organized by Eastern Africa Network for Women in Basics Sciences (EANWOBAS) and will take place at the University of Nairobi, UoN Towers from November 28th-29th 2019.
