The B.Sc (Astrophysics) is designed to train graduates who will have the relevant skills to work in areas of Basic and Applied Space Sciences, such as Satellite Space Stations (e.g., San Marco in Malindi), Astronomical observatories and Aeronautical Engineering Departments and Remote Sensing.
B.Sc. (MTI) is concerned with the principles and applications of computer and information technology in industrial and scientific microprocessor-based instrumentation which are practically in every sector of our society, such as industry, education, tourism etc.

Physics students are part of students participants undertaking Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) who will participate in the upcoming first regional workshop on gender equality in STEM. The workshop is organized by Eastern Africa Network for Women in Basics Sciences (EANWOBAS) and will take place at the University of Nairobi, UoN Towers from November 28th-29th 2019.
The theme of the workshop is harnessing women and girls potential in STEM for sustainable development.
